This is the 10th poem for 13b42013 Poetry Series.
Mga Haiku para sa nadurog kong puso nitong 2012…
Nathan Neil Beronio
Pumapatak ang…
Mga luha ko kapag…
Nakikita ka…
Tandang-tanda ko…
Nung iniwan mo ako…
Sa Acad. Center…
Paalam, Kuya…
Sinabi mo sa akin…
Sabay talikod…
Tinalikuran…
Sinaksak, nilamutak…
Pusong kawawa…
Ako’y nilisan…
Sinaktan nang lubusan…
Para kanino?...
Para sa kanya?…
Ano bang meron siya at…
Ika’y nabihag?...
Oh, eh di sige…
It’s really your loss, not mine…
Bitter Ocampo…
"I love you, goodbye"…
Hanggang dito na lang ba?...
Walang “One More Try”?...
Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry that consists of 17 syllables, in
three phrases of five, seven and five syllables respectively.
Nathan Neil Beronio is an AB English senior in Araullo University-PHINMA and is the Associate Editor of Viewpoint. He aims to encapsulate in the haikus he made the heartbreaks he experienced (and imagined) in 2012. How is this connected to 13b42013? After reading this, you might actually want the world to end already (or end the life of the author). This poem is composed as a part of 13b42013 Poetry Series.
