Araullo University-PHINMA launches a new Physical Education supplemental program that emphasizes building the students’ character and forming their values through rhythmic activities.

The new program, which is on its testing phase, focuses on providing selected First Year College and Basic Education elementary students with lessons on proper posture and the fundamentals of dancing. The ten first year college sections involved in the program (CAS-1 to CAS-8, CAS-24, and CAS-25) and the elementary students will be engaged in various programs encompassing modern ballet, ballet, jazz, and hip hop.

According to Mr. Michael John Esteban, Director of the AU-Performing Arts, the said repertoire is geared to equip students not only with skills, but also with confidence and the ability to express themselves through dancing. Twenty senior members of AU Performing Arts who were granted with scholarships will assist our PE instructors to implement the said program. Dan Kevin Roque
