Nakalimutang Kahapon

Ginapos na tinig’y
nagpupumilit,
nagpupumiglas,
nagmamakaawa,
gustong kumawala.
Aking mahal na ina’y umiiyak,
nagugugtom,
nauuhaw,
Hindi makahinga.
Hindi makasigaw.
Isinubo, nginuya,
Pagkatapos ay iluluwa.
Ito ba ang sinasabi mong
Tamang paggamit sa wika?
Kay bilis mong nakalimot,
pagsinta mo’y bakit nilumot?
Bakit sa tanikalang bakal
Ika’y nagpasakal!
Ikaw Pilipino!.
Kailan ka gigising?
Kailan ka babangon?
Sa’yong pagkalunod
Kailan ka aahon?
